The International Journal of Creativity in Music Education is published as a Web-journal.

It mainly contains:

  1. Papers assigned to the Special Issue of each volume.
  2. Papers not assigned to the special issue, which are also being accepted by the journal.

Each paper will be reviewed by at least two referees, and an editorial decision will be generally reached within 8 to 12 weeks of submission. Papers should be around 5000 words long. An abstract of about 100 words summarizing the content of the paper should be added below the title and before the main text. A biography of around 75 words including the author’s name and affiliation should be submitted on a separate cover sheet.

  1. Articles about workshop plans and reports of creative music activities are also welcome. They will not be reviewed by referees, but the decision for acceptance will be made by the editorial committee.

Submission of papers and articles is taken on the basis that they have not previously been published elsewhere. Contributors are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging copyright permissions where necessary.
Native-checking of all work is to be done prior to submission.

The official language is English.
The papers must be written in APA style. Submissions in MS Word as well as PDF format should be sent. Please visit to the CONTACT page of this website.

A call for papers will be posted to the URL above about a half year before the deadline.
